A fantastic summer opportunity has arisen for an experienced and adaptable Housekeeper & Household Assistant to join a private residence in Surrey from 12th June until mid-September.
This varied live-in role would suit someone who enjoys becoming fully involved in the day-to-day running of a household and takes pride in providing exceptional support wherever needed. Combining housekeeping, driving, dog care, household management and occasional childcare support, no two days are quite the same.
Working five days per week, typically from 8:00am to 7:00pm with a one-hour lunch break, the successful candidate will become a trusted support to the principal, helping to ensure the home runs smoothly whilst maintaining the highest standards throughout the property. Flexibility will occasionally be required depending on family visits, travel and the principal's schedule.
Alongside full housekeeping and laundry responsibilities, the role will involve running errands, overseeing deliveries and contractors, driving duties, caring for three much-loved dogs and occasionally assisting with the principal's four-year-old great niece during visits. There may also be opportunities to accompany the principal on local trips and occasional travel.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking an interesting and varied summer contract within a welcoming private household, complete with private self-contained accommodation and the chance to enjoy life in a beautiful Surrey setting.
