Clique Private Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and highly service-driven Executive Housekeeper to oversee two exceptional private residences located in San Francisco and Belvedere, California.
This is a rare opportunity to become the sole Executive Housekeeper across both homes, dividing your time between the family's primary San Francisco residence and their beautifully maintained weekend estate in Belvedere. Working closely alongside the House Manager and wider household team, you will ensure both properties are consistently maintained to the highest standard while creating seamless continuity between the two residences.
The San Francisco home is the family's primary residence, where you will lead and support an established housekeeping team while overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operations. In contrast, the Belvedere estate requires a more independent approach, with responsibility for ensuring the property remains impeccably presented, fully prepared for family arrivals and maintained to exceptional standards throughout the week.
This role offers an exciting balance between leadership and hands-on housekeeping. The successful candidate will naturally move between managing people, maintaining luxury housekeeping standards and developing systems that ensure both homes operate effortlessly behind the scenes.
The ideal candidate will be calm, organised, highly detail-oriented and genuinely passionate about creating beautifully run homes. Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Property Presentation
- Oversee the daily housekeeping operations across both residences.
- Ensure both properties are maintained to exceptional luxury household standards at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain consistency, presentation and readiness.
- Prepare both homes ahead of all family arrivals and complete detailed household resets following departures.
- Oversee fine laundry, wardrobe care, garment steaming and linen management.
- Maintain household inventories, supplies and operational systems.
- Coordinate dry cleaning, household shopping and other housekeeping-related tasks as required.
- Assist with seasonal deep cleans, household organisation and special projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and support the housekeeping team based at the San Francisco residence.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping schedules and task allocation.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and professional working environment.
- Maintain strong communication between both properties and the wider household team.
- Lead by example through a hands-on approach to housekeeping.
Household Operations
- Work closely with the House Manager to ensure both properties operate seamlessly.
- Maintain household manuals, inventories and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Support the ongoing development of systems and procedures as the Belvedere estate expands.
- Assist with light household administration and record keeping.
- Provide occasional support during family visits and private entertaining.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper within a luxury private household, estate or superyacht.
- Experience leading or supervising housekeeping teams.
- Exceptional luxury housekeeping standards with advanced wardrobe and garment care knowledge.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently while also leading a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, discreet and solutions-focused.
- Confident managing multiple properties and prioritising changing workloads.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Legally authorised to work in the United States.
Experience within superyachts or ultra-high-net-worth private households would be highly advantageous.
